Teacup Kewpie gardens!

I made kewpie baby planty things and they’re adorable!  It’s like the plants are wearing pants!

Carrying on with my gardeny craft obsession:

I had this old Kewpie Doll laying around the house for ages that I’d found in an op shop for a dollar or two. It had these groovy little hand knitted underpants on and I fell in love. Since then it’s just sat around looking sad so I decided to put it to good use.. And by good use I mean replacing it’s head with a Jelly Bean plant (I am a bit obsessed with those too!).

It’s head now resides on a glitter red artists’ model manikin thing. He seems much happier now :)

Howdy Do! This is my lovely future husband pulling a funny face and my latest creation, a kewpie headband!

Last night I magically discovered a hot glue gun I’d bought ages ago and had forgotten about and decided to fix a headband I’d broken recently. Turns out I couldn’t find the flower that is meant to cover the join that was broken. Sitting on my desk though were my new set of kewpies ready for crafting. Perfect! And thus was born the kewpie headband.
